LOCATION: Tradewinds American Samoa is located just below the equator in the South Pacific. It is located on the tropical island of Tutuila-- just one of seven (7) islands that make up American Samoa.

The Pago Pago International Airport is situated less than 3km from Tradewinds Hotel and a complimentary airport transfer service is provided. Car hire agencies are available at the airport but there is no bank. Limousine service can also be arranged through the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION: Tradewinds Hotel opened in 2003 and offers 104 luxury accommodation to the Quality Inn international standard with plantation style architecture and landscaped gardens with mountain and ocean views. Tradewinds Hotel offers four standards of Rooms: Standard Rooms - Deluxe Rooms - Deluxe Suites - Presidential Suites. Taupo Rooms This is our family-sized room designed especially with 2 to 4 guest in mind. The two double beds and Balinese furnishings give this room a feeling of subtle magnificence. Whether you are traveling in a large group, as is the custom in the South Pacific, or with only a few other people, this room has been designed with all your needs in mind. Manaia Room In Samoan, "manaia" means beautiful, which this bedroom defines to the last detail. Matai Suite The Matai are the chiefs of our Islands. When one visits your home it is customary to provide this Matai with the best lodging you have to offer. As you open the doors to the Deluxe Matai Suite, you will find yourself in a living complex fit for a Matai. The oversized love-seat, table and chair provide a inviting sitting area separate from your bedroom . The furniture places an emphasis on the natural beauty of the tropics, including a handsome solid, teak bed-frame, complete with our most comfortable king-sized mattresses, and four hand-carved posts. To better service the needs of our guests (our visiting matai) we also offer a host of amenities including: a mini bar, refrigerator, flat-screen television, a dining table with chairs for two, and more. We again emphasize relaxation and splendor in this suite by utilizing nature and exposing all of it's true tones in the flavor of our decor.

Ali'i Suite The Ali'i are the highest of chiefs, often times of royal lineage. We are privileged to introduce the Ali'i Plaza Suite, the first of its kind on our island, designed with our Ali'i guest in mind. European luxury and the warmth of Polynesia unite in this magnificent suite of rooms, to bring you the best in comfort and elegance. The suite is made up of a bedroom, a living room and kitchenette, and two full-sized bathrooms. The capacious living room features the finest in quality, teak furnishing, a flat-screen television, a full dining table with chairs for four, as well as a kitchenette. A refrigerator and mini bar allow you to indulge in afternoon drinks from the tranquility of your own retreat.
