of the Citadel is Amman's famous amphitheatre.
Just an hour's drive north lies the ruined city of Jerash. The
Pompeii of the East - and the region's most important archaeological
site, Pella, where excavations continue to unearth evidence of
a civilization dating back 10,000 years. Also within an hour's
drive are Madaba, which has the earliest surviving map of the
Holy Land, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea. The rose-city of Petra
and the Wadi Rum desert can be reached in just three hours by
car.

and banqueting rooms, including two executive meeting rooms
with panoramic views over Amman. From May to October, pool-side
cocktail receptions and dinner parties can be organised for
