LOCATION

It was in the early 18th Century,
when the Mughal Aurangzeb's reign had passed, that Maharana Sangram II,
Ruler of Udaipur, took issue with the Mughals, leading to a battle (14th
April, 1711) that the Sisodias fought valiantly and victoriously at Banghanware
near the banks of River Khari, At his side, into battle, the Maharana
had young Sanwant Singh of Salumber. Pleased with his daring and constancy
the Maharana granted Sanwant Singh a sizable fiefdom that very day along
with the handsome Fort of Bambora.
Bambora is today available to the
discerning and adventurous traveller, to share in it's past and partake
of its present- the epitome of Rajput hospitality, princely comforts and
a nobleman's cuisine. The fort has been sensitively restored to retain
its ambience and yet offer modern conveniences.

are 32 rooms 10 suites and 20 deluxe rooms with air-conditioning.
These rooms have been tastefully done up each having a distinct
individuality and style. The rooms have exquisite Heritage furniture
