CIRKUS
CIRKUS : Located in the atrium of The Lotus Suites -
An Ecotel hotel, Cirkus Cirkus compares to some of Asia's best and
biggest resto - discotheques.
If you don't dance, or don't want to, there are a number of things
that you can do. Either you can chill in the quite dining area,
or try the gourmet buffet, or the regular snacks. Or you can watch
a magic show, or a breathtaking trapeze act or just sit in a corner
sipping your cocktail. Or watch you favourite sports on the 60-ft
wide video projection wall. There are two other giant video screens
and smaller screens.
There are live bands playing on a regular basis, flair bartending,
dancing waiters, regular events - and a special level for private
parties. In this special level the music and the ambience remain
the same only the guests are exclusive.
The swimming pool at Cirkus Cirkus is not a show pool. It is a full-fledged
pool used by hotel guests by day. But by night it is converted into
a beautifully lit fountain. No swimming after 10 pm.
All that is at night, till the wee hours. By day Cirkus Cirkus transforms
itself into a restaurant. In fact the place changes character every
few hours right through the day providing patrons with an experience
they have never had before. It begins as a breakfast lounge, with
musical waiters and chefs who flaunt their acrobatic-cooking skills
in the display kitchen even as the real acrobats and artists entertain
the guests.
Executive lunch buffets offer a 16 - course spread. Each counter
has it's own distinctive flavour as chef's behind the counter not
only cook up your favourite dishes as you watch but also help you
choose your meal from the counter.
At 3:30pm lunch ends and Hi - Tea begins. A variety of 12 different
snacks and light foods are served. Clowns and musicians entertain
the guests.
Dinner begins at 7pm and a variety of entertainment is provided.
This includes fortnightly food festivals, live music, dancing and
DJ music. Two circus acts are performed.
At 10:30 pm, Cirkus Cirkus is transformed into a discotheque and
nightspot. The disco is open till 1:30 am and the buffet till early
morning. And then it is time to lay out the breakfast tables again
and another day begins at Cirkus Cirkus.
