DINING & BARS:
Palace
Café is situated opposite the corner of the Market Hall.
Here, you can enjoy a high-quality self-service meal quickly, easily
and at a reasonable price. Palace Café's menu, which is based
on fish and meat dishes, changes daily. There is also a fresh salad
buffet, and the Café serves a soup and a warm vegetarian
dish every day. Palace Café, which has a seating capacity
of 300, can provide facilities for large private functions. Weddings,
birthday parties and corporate Christmas parties can easily be arranged
at Palace Café. Welcome!
Palace Gourmet, situated high above Helsinki's South Harbour, has
been a centre of culinary excellence since 1952. The nostalgic 1950's
ambience of the original restaurant has been carefully maintained
and it is also renowned for its first class service and superb views
over Helsinki's harbour and archipelago. Our chef, Marko Laine,
is responsible for designing the menu, which closely reflects the
changing seasons. Although principally Finnish-French in style and
flavours, globally diverse culinary traditions have also influenced
the cuisine on offer. Not to be missed is the Menu Surprise, a seven
course 'tasting menu' which changes daily.
Restaurant PalacenRanta, which is situated on the first floor of
Palace Hotel, specialises in contemporary European food. The menu
of PalacenRanta is the creation of chef Pekka Terävä.
The restaurant is also well-known for the international visiting
chefs who appear in its kitchen two to three times a year. In addition
to delicious lunches and sumptuous à la carte dinners, PalacenRanta
also provides food for the eye - its wide panoramic windows face
the South Harbour and the sea. PalacenRanta's understated style
makes it a pleasant venue for large and small parties. The expert
professional staff ensures that a meal at PalacenRanta will always
be an experience to remember. Welcome, come and enjoy the ambience
of Palace |
