LOCATION: The Royal Castle Moenchstein Hotel is situated on the top of the Moenchsberg, which is a hill in the city centre of Salzburg. The castle is surrounded by its own large and quiet park. You can reach the old town within 7 minutes by walking along the "Moenchstein-Panorama Path", with its marvellous view overlooking Salzburg, and then using the elevator, which is built into the hill. It will take you to the old part of the town with its beautiful sights, including the house of birth of the world's famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, within one minute. The city center can also be reached within 5 minutes by car.

ACCOMMODATION: All accommodations are decorated and furnished with authentic antiques from different periods. Nevertheless you do not have to renounce the comfort and convenience of our own time. Most rooms and suites have a marvellous view overlooking the historical center of Salzburg. The city of Mozart is easily reachable on foot taking just a few minutes. You may visit famous sites and monuments, take a ride in a typical carriage or just go shopping through narrow streets.

RESTAURANT: The hotel enjoy the last rays of sun while having an aperitif on the "Garden Terrace Apollo". For dinner have a seat in the Castle-Restaurant and choose a wide and delicate variety of Austrian and international dishes accurately prepared by leading cooks.
