in late 1990, Laguna Beach Resort is one of the new generation resort
hotels in the Maldives. Suited in South Malé Atolll, only
40 minutes from the capital, Malé, the resort offers a comparatively

is just twenty minutes from Malée and the airport by speedboat.

ACCOMMODATION:
Laguna
is blessed with a range of luxury accommodation designed to
suit the demands of guests of good taste. All the rooms are
deluxe category or better. Deluxe accommodation overlooks the
peaceful beach and lagoon. Rooms are tastefully laid out and
beautifully decorated, with ample space and a delightful en
suite bathroom.
The Bungalows are cottage-like with entrance from a veranda.
A four-poster bed is on a raised level behind the sitting area.
The ensuite bathroom is especially spacious.
Every room is air-conditioned and they also have ceiling fans.
Amenities include a fully stocked mini-bar, an in-room safe,
IDD telephone, tea/coffee maker, and hair dryer and toiletries
in the bathroom which has a bath and shower. All rooms have
a balcony or veranda.
The Water Suites are clustered around a central boardwalk over
the calm waters of a crystal-clear lagoon. The Water Suite offers
luxurious seclusion in the suite and on the private sundeck
with its own stairway to the sea.
Every water suite has an uninterrupted view of the lagoon and
the Indian Ocean beyond the reef. Each one has a television,
fully-stocked mini-bar, individually controlled air-conditioning,
IDD telephone, tea/coffee maker, hair dryer and luxuriously-appointed

a cheerful atmosphere.

Chinese setting.
The Four Seasons is a fine dining restaurant catering to the

Scuba Diving : The dive centre is located in a modern,
fully-equipped building on the arrival pier and has all equipment
available for rent. It is run to very high standards by VIT
(CMAS), SSI and PADI qualified instructors. Full instruction
is given for beginners and dives are made to the most popular
dive sites in the area including caves, reefs, canyons and shark
points..
