Entertainment
We have stopped at nothing at the Baros Island Resort to ensure
that you can enjoy some of the finest entertainment during your
stay.
A live band will play on three nights a week. A disco by the
beach allows you to dance to the rhythms of the guitar and drums
late into the night. All the way to sunrise if you want. A bar
enables you to relax between dances and sip a cool refreshing
drink before returning to the dance floor.
Don't miss out on the chance to do something really different-feed
the stingrays that have made their home in the warm waters of
the lagoon. Just after the sun has gone down, these magnificent
sea creatures glide gracefully up to the shore where they know
their dinner is waiting. They have made friends with some of
the staff and will play with them in the water while they are
hand fed. This is something you will not see in many places,
so don't miss out on this unique opportunity to see one of the
ocean's most graceful creatures gliding by a few inches away

| SCUBA DIVING:
The
Maldives is reputedly the best place on earth to dive, so whether
you're an experienced diver or a complete beginner, you have
the opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful underwater
places in the world. Experienced PADI instructors are available
to teach you what you need to know, and at the end of the course
you will have your PADI certificate so you can return again
to dive. Instruction is available in Dutch, English and German,
and all equipment is available at the Baros Dive School. |
