LOCATION:
Built
at the turn of the century, the Settha Palace Hotel is now restored
to its former charm. The French colonial architecture, period furniture,
landscape gardens complemented by modern facilities are some of the
features of this historical landmark in the heart of Vientiane, the
capital city of Lao P.D.R (Laos).
The
Hotel is located right in the city centre, within walking distance of
the commercial district, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.
It is 10 minutes drive from Laos Wattai International Airport and 25
minutes drive to Thadeua on Laos side of the Mekong River and the border

Twenty-six
rooms and three suites out of the hotel's 43 rooms and suites
are ready to accommodateguests. They are furnished with large
tester bed, decorated with lightly coloured reproductions of Delaporte
prints made from the sketches the French navigator drew during
a 19th century exploration of the Mekong River.
Rooms in the right wing have expensive Pakistani carpets. A detail
Mr Theodas attaches much importance to bath and shower are separated.
The finery in the door open without having the impression you
are looking into a bathroom. Each room is equiped with IDD telephone,
satellite TV,minibar and personal safe.

RESTAURANT:
La
Belle Epoque, the restaurant and bar, serves French cuisine.A
swiss chef, who has worked in several five-star hotels all equiped
with sophisticated French machines. Vientianites will rejoice
at learning that Mr Sayasouk Southakakoumar, who used to enchant
diners at the Sourya Reataurant, in assisting the chef at the
Settha Palace.
