LOCATION: Zhejiang
Xizi Hotel is located at the foot of the hill that is famous for the
former Leifeng Pagoda, which is one of the ten best views of the West
Lake. The hotel covers an area of over 260,000 square meters, bordering
the lake on three sides and neighboring the ancient temple jinci Temple
on the south.

ACCOMMODATION:
A hotel of
four star facilities, there are a total of 200 rooms in this old building,
and room types range from standard rooms, either with or without a lake
view, to executive, deluxe, and executive-deluxe rooms. All of the rooms
are provided with room service, IDD/DDD telephones, color TVs and central
air-conditioning.
RESTAURANT: There
are a total of nine restaurants here, so that both Western and Asian
food is available. The highlight is the "Leadership Banquet",
composed of some homely dishes favored by Chairman Mao and Comrade Chen
Yun and some exquisite dishes served in the state banquet for visiting
foreign heads of states and VIPs including Dr. Kissinger, former Secretary
of State of the United States and Helzog, former President of Germany.
The dishes are both elaborately prepared and tasty. Famous dishes include
Beggar's Chicken, Dongpo Braised Pork, West Lake Water Shield Soup and
Steamed Soft-Shelled Turtle with mutton.
