LOCATION:The Karibea Baie du Galion Resort
is a hotel complex situated on the Caravelle peninsula, on a hillside
facing the sea, in a protected site just 300 m from the fishing village
of Tartane, with its restaurants and shops along the sea. The Karibea
Baie du Galion Resort is located in the heart of a central Atlantic
region just 1 Km from a natural reserve that is particularly rich in
sports and cultural discoveries. In addition, this is the ideal starting
point for all the excursions that will enable you to discover the north
of Martinique. Some examples: Dubuc Castle ruins (classified as an historical
monument), the white depths of Robert, rambling paths on the peninsula
with tour of the Baie du Trésor. On the north-Atlantic coast:
St James distillery and banana museum in Sainte Marie, village of the
Vannerie at Mornes des Esses, rivers In the north-centre: tropical forest,
waterfalls and the Montagne Pelée On the North-Caribbean coast:
Saint-Pierre and the Carbet.

The
hotel complex has 178 rooms distributed over several 3-storey
buildings, all facing the sea. Access to the rooms by lifts and
stairs.

The Superior Galion Rooms - 138 units of an
area of 27 m2 + balcony, furnished in colonial style mahogany

with one 140-cm bed. 3 rooms specialy equipped for the disabled.

The Goelette Juinor Suites - 40 units of an
area of 30 m2 + a 5 m2 terrace, with a bedroom and living room
separated by a sliding room-divider, furnished in ceruse wood,
2 bathrooms with shower, kitchenette on the balcony, garden or
sea view with supplement. rooms with a 160 x 200cm double bed,
living room with a 120 x 190cm sofa-bed for one adult or two children
under 10. 2 rooms specially equipped for the disabled.

RESTAURANT & BAR:
The
Surcouf Restaurant
- It has a sea view and overlooks the huge swimming-pool,
seats 170. Buffet-style French and Creole cuisine is available at
midday and in the evening.
The Sextant bar - Looks onto the swimming-pool,
this huge bar with its marine atmosphere is always very lively and
popular. This is where the hotel complex entertainment takes place.
Opened from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm.
Fresh and sparking water by pump distributor, draff beer, tea and
coffee, local fruit juices, White and Old Rum.
Snacking from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm : hamburger, pizza and hot dog.

of the natural reserve on the aravelle peninsula.
