LOCATION : Located on the West Coast of the main island of Mahe, 15 km from the capital town of Victoria and 17 km from Seychelles International Airport, the Berjaya Mahe Beach is situated directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. The hotel was built to resemble a passenger cruise ship with all rooms enjoying spectacular ocean views. The 20 acres of tropical sculptured garden provide a tranquil retreat for those who wish to relax among the palms. For the sun lovers wishing to soak up a tan there is a private lagoon and plenty of space on the large pool deck. The hotel provides free transfer for the hotel guest to Port Launay beach, the Beau Vallon beach and the capital town of Victoria.

ACCOMMODATION : The hotel consists of seven floors. Two elevators and several staircases service all floors. 173 rooms comprising of 164 Standard Rooms, 8 Junior Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning units, IDD facilities, television with two in-house movie channels, mini bar (stocked on request), tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer and private bathroom. All rooms also have spacious private balcony with spectacular sea view. A number of rooms have a view of the pool and garden in addition to sea view.

FOOD & BEVERAGE : LA VOLIERE RESTAURANT (Main restaurant located on Level 2 by the Pool) Open air restaurant with ceiling fans and comfortable rattan furniture. Serves breakfast and dinner with a wide selection of international and creole cuisine. Full English breakfast is available daily, Dinner for guest on half board basis is served in La Voliere. There are different buffets and table d’hôte menus each week. MONTEZUMA RESTAURANT & BAR (Located on Level 2 by the Pool) Casual Cocktail bar and café. Serves an “a la carte” menu and light snacks daily from 12.00 hours to 23.00 hours. The bar serves cocktails and other beverages till 01.00 hours. This is an ideal venue for those who wish to dine by the pool, overlooking the sea and Therese Island. LAGOON CAFÉ (Located by the lagoon beach) Serves drinks and light snacks. Open from 10.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs. COCOCABANA DISCOTHEQUE (Open on Saturday nights) The most elegant disco on the island, built inside the rocks between the swimming pool and the garden, with a sophisticated sound and lighting system. The disco has a dance floor, with a large sitting area on the lower level and a cozy bar on the upper level. Entry is free of charge for hotel guests.

CONFERENCES & BANQUETS (Located on Level 3 down the stairs from Reception) “Grann Kaz” can be used for conferences, gala diners, meetings and cocktail parties. It is 31 meters long and 9 meters wide with an area of about 280 square meters. It can accommodate from 120 guests (conference style) to about 280 guests for cocktails. The room is equipped with conference equipments such as projector, flipchart, screen and video, TV, stage for head table, podium and a public address system. “Sans Souci” is a smaller conference room connected to Grann Kaz. It is 13 meters long and 8 meters wide with an area of about 96 square meters. It can accommodate from 50 guests (conference style) to about 80 guests for cocktails.

FACILITIES: Facilities include laundry, baby-sitting, car hire, diving, hotel shop, room service. There is also a comprehensive daily activity program for the guests. Some of the entertainment includes beach volleyball, petanque, pool table, darts, table tennis. There is also a tennis and air-conditioned squash court.
