LOCATION :
Located in Bel Ombre, on the south west coast of Mauritius , the
resort is surrounded by the natural beauty of a particularly beautiful
area of Mauritian countryside, with casuarinas trees swaying in
the breeze.
Undulating sand dunes and deserted beaches border the sparkling
blue Indian Ocean , while surf breaks over the coral reef on the
far horizon.

The wide range of skilfully designed accommodation provides
for ‘an hotel within an hotel’, offering Club and Suite guests
daily use of the resort’s Colonial Club House.
The Colonial Club House is classical elegance personified, a
sanctum of tranquillity for Club and Suite guests. It has a
well stocked library of books, videos and DVDs, a business centre,

guests at Voile d'Or Resort & Spa. Families have a choice of
rooms and suites with sofa beds, or family rooms with an additional
children’s room.
Deluxe rooms have a Portuguese inspired décor, while the subtle
Moorish style of the Prestige rooms is reminiscent of the exotic
world of the Silk Route .
The Suites exude the many influences that make Mauritius what
it is today, toning rich tropical colours with inspirations
from the grandeur of the island’s historic past.
Apart from their size, the distinguishing factor of all bedrooms
is the open space with large and practical walk-in wardrobes,
the very spacious bathroom, enormous bath and walk-in shower.
Prestige rooms have an outside shower in the private garden.
All suites enjoy a prime location with a beautiful view. The
design also takes advantage of the outdoor area with private
gardens, which also applies to selected rooms.
Club
Rooms :
Club Room guests enjoy a beachfront position, in spacious thatched
accommodation, with huge bathroom, wardrobe and shower. Club
Prestige rooms have a garden behind the bathroom with outside
